There were two newspapers in Sandpoint during this time so I thought I would check both of them.

Pend d’ Oreille Review, Friday, July 22, 1921

Phillip Culler, 90, for two years an inmate of the county farm, passed away Wednesday at the city hospital after a week’s illness, due to old age. He was buried in Lakeview cemetery yesterday. A son at Laclede died two years ago and the deceased’s only surviving relative is a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Deliah Culler of Laclede, who attended the funeral. He was born in Ohio and had lived in the county for some years.
