I checked the papers around that date and did not see a notice of his death. And I did not find him in the Idaho Death Index which lists all deaths in the State of Idaho from 1911 to 1951. So perhaps he died someplace else? Normally back then they posted all deaths in the paper. There was the County Poor Farm in Sandpoint during that time. It operated from about 1907 or so into the 1940's I believe. I don't think they actually had a name for it other than the county Poor Farm. I will do some more checking.
