TRAVELS OVERSEAS TO MARRY HUSBAND
Marie Louise Lechot and Children Arrive Thursday From France to Make Wilder Home.
Caldwell - Culmination of a romance arising from the chaos of the great war was enacted in Caldwell Thursday when Marie Louise Lechot and her two children of Angiers, France, alighted from westbound train No. 17 early in the morning and was immediately married to Louis Jensen of Wilder by David D. Harger, justice of the peace.
Mr. Jensen served in the American expeditionary forces in France. There he met his wife, but owing to legal technicalities decided to wait and be married in the United States.
Mrs. Jensen cannot speak English. She told her husband (who speaks French)that owing to the shipping strike in New York her ship was forced to dock at Halifax, Novia Scotia.
