I am looking for the parents of or any other information concerning Gabriel Martin,wife's name,Catharine Best.
Gabriel was born in 1818-1826 in Pennsylvainia.
In 1860 and 1870 they lived in Minnesota,In 1880 they lived in Nebraska,and in 1890 they lived in Idaho.
I have been told they both died somewhere along the Idaho/Oregon border around 1895.If so I would like to find out where they were buried.
I have recieved some information that Gabriel's parents were David and Catharine Martin,but the dates were a little off,and I can't find any census reports or anything to show me.
I have 7 of Gabriel's childrens names I am told there are more.
I am also told Gabriel may have had another wife before Catharine,her name may have been Elizabeth.But,I can't find anything on that either.
One of Gabriel's sons named Frank settled in Baker,Oregon.
Another son,named Wilson settled in Lewis and Latah counties in Idaho.
If anyone knows anything or could help please let me know,it will be deeply appreaciated.
