My mother advises that the Soldiers Home in Boise was out on State Street. It was used for soldiers (Civil War, Sp. Am War, later World War I) who could not provide for themselves in old age. After World War II as she recalls the building was used for something else. If a family was living there, she thinks that the husband must have been employed there. Good luck on your research.
