Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Barber is not a town. It may have been a
community at one time. There is very little
there now. The land in that immediate area
is being developed by the Harris family.
They raised white-face cattle for many years.
The area will be a planned community covering
the area on the mountain side of the highway.
The picture in the newspaper looked very nice. If you like I will see if I can get
the some information about the area.
