Unfortunately the curch records I have on-line only reach until 1870, so they are not of much help. The name "Jespersen" is quite rare in Iceland though.Only 9 people carry that name in Iceland today - Harald Jespersen, born in 1943, and seven of his descendatns. In addition there is one woman from the Faeroe Islands who carries the name.
THe only other "Jespersen" I can fine is one Andreas Jespersen, who was born around 1792.
