Rognvaldur Jonsson 1769-1845 descendant
I am a descendant of Rognvaldur Jonsson from my grandmothers side, a book was written about his life by Jon Reykjalin (a parish minister) in Icelandic May 1824. Than later translated to english by Rev. V.J Eylands December 1977.
My great grandmother was Anna (Hillman) she married Leonard G. Benson.
Her parents were Rognvaldur Gisli Petursson Hillman & Gudrun Gudlaug Johannesdottir.

Rognvaldur was the son of Petur Jonsson who farmed for many years in the Akra area of North Dakota.
