Thank you again Fridrik for the information you provided it gave some starting points to continue my search, having some success on a few people.
I’m looking for any information, such as did they marry, to whom did they marry, where they lived, if they had any children for:
a. Helga Jónsdóttir, 1814-1892,
b. Jón Jónsson, 1814-1902,
c. Jóhannes Jónsson, 1819-?, emigrated in 1888. Emigrating at the age of 69 did he do this to join children or he go with them?
d. Sigríður Jónsdóttir, 1821-?, emigrated in 1876. Only info. found was that she emigrated as a widow. Emigrating at the age of 55 did she do this to join children or she go with them?
e. Jónatan Jónsson, 1830-1860.
Lawrie
