My grandmother Anna Steingrimsdottir, and two of her siblings were in care on three different farms in Borgarfjordur, prior to their family emigrating to Manitoba in 1894.
Anna Steingrimsdottir (1881-1925)- For til Vesturheims 1894 fra Grund, Skorradalshreppi, Borgarfjordur.
Lilja Steingrimsdottir (1890- 1963) For til Vesturheims fra Halsum, Skorradalshreppi, Borg.
Einar Steingrimsson (1891-1977) For til Vesturheims fra Indridastodhum, Skorradalshreppi, Borg.
Their parents were Steingrimur Kristjansson (1853 Lundursokn, Borg.-1925) & Snjofridur Hjalmarsdottir(1866-1911)
I would like to learn with who was resident on these farms, and when the children were placed in care.
