Thank you for your reply. Your answer is what I kind of expected. I think there must have been two Helga's But I have no record of the death dates of either Krisín or Helga and I have no record of either of them emigrating to Canada with their father, so figure they both must have died young. I also don´t have a death date of their mother Þorbjörg Guðmundsdóttir who died in Iceland before Jónatan Jónasson emigrated to Canada.
