I would think the fact that he was married to Sigridur would help narrow down the field somewhat. In any event, they both would have been born around 1855 in Iceland. We have no idea where. They emigrated to Halifax Nova Scotia in the 1870's where they eventually had four children. they both died in Northern Minnesota, probably Duluth, in the 1920's. The names of their four children were Robert, born 1876, Freeman born 1879, Sadie born 1882 and Margaret, birth date unknown. That is all the information we have.
