Hi Russ, Thank-you. I don't know that Thordor is related Magnus. I only mention him as he is the only other Brynjolfsson that I have found in Algoma. It may be possible that he is a cousin or no relation at all. I assume there must be some connection as Magnus later acted as a witness to Annie (Thordor's wife). But again I don't know. Did Brynjólfur Halldórsson (b. 11 nov 1824) and Jórunn Guðmundsdóttir (b. 4 Dec 1828)ever emmigrate or did they remain in Iceland?
