Bjorg Jonsdottir 1861 to 1934, variations and more variations!!

I have a family tree on paper that has been worked back to the 1400's.

My great grandmother is
Bjorg Jonsdottir is on my paper tree.
BJORG JONSSON on familysearch.org.
Bjorg JØNSDOTHR on another family source.
Bjorg Johnson in yet another.

Now from a pure genealogical perspective I am leaning on the first on as it was derrived from someone who went to Iceland for research but clearly she changed her name in the US.

But I am curious, is this also the same or simply a variant. JØNSDOTHR.

Final question. Is there an online Iceland link (in English) to do some cross referencing? My tree was a copy and some dates are so small and are illegible.

Thanks very much in advance.
