I don't know how far I'll get with my Jesse Ice-->Rosa Lee Ice (Martin)-->Clarence Martin question from an earlier post so I'll back up a generation. Is there anybody out there with info on Jesse Ice (wife: Amelia Hildreth) or his siblings? I'm really trying to piece together my granddad's life between 12 and 31, and find out more about my family. I never knew him as he died in 1926 and was Jesse M. Ice's grandson and Rosa Lee's (Rosie's) son. She died when he was six and I found him in a 1900 census living with Jesse, Amelia, and his Aunt Almira--but nothing else until he marries my grandmother in 1919. Strange. Can anyone help? (Karen, I know you're trying. Don't give up.)
