I descend from Indian Billy Ice through William Galloway Ice, Jr. > Jesse M. Ice > Rosa Lee Ice > Clarence L. Martin (her son to S. W. Martin) > Lois A. Martin. That makes Indian Billy my 4-greats granddad. I know there are very many of us as it seems the man attempted to populate much of that northern WV area. LOL I am wondering if anyone has, or has access to, really neat anecdotal info on the Ice family (not just the Tecumseh stuff of the fascinating story that earned Billy his name).
Also...
I'd really LOVE info on Jesse M. Ice (gg-granddad/1827-1903)and his daughter Rosa Lee (g-grandmom/1865-1894). Her son, Clarence L. Martin was my grandfather (1888-1926). I lose track of him after age 12. I can't find him again until he marries my grandmother in 1919 at age 31. Any ideas, leads, would be so much appreciated.
