Hi Marilyn
I have just come across your postings in relation to Ibbotts in Australia from England. I have an Ibbott who came to Australia from England in 1855 with her husband Jarvis Elsum. They settled in Williamstown in Victoria.
Jane was born in 1832 at Coppingford in Huntingdonshire, her parents were John and Mary Ibbott. Her siblings were Mary born about 1826, William born about 1827, Elizabeth born about 1830, John born about 1834, Joseph born about 1839 and Robert born about 1840/41. I wonder if there may be a connection somewhere.
