Well, the history in Mocorito Sinaloa says that Capitan Francisco Ibarra was one of the discoverers of Sinaloa.You have to remember that this group of persons traveled throughout mexico and ended in Florida.So, maybe it is the same person, but maybe this discoverer of Sinaloa is related to Francisco Ibarra?
