Hi All, I'd like to step in here, as I'm a descendant of the William Iams who appears first in Bedford County Pa. then Allegany County Md. after the Rev. War. Although there is no solid proof, it sure seems like he was a brother to Hugh and Rachel Iams Huff. As far as anyone can tell, there is no proof of his connection to the Anne Arundel Clan who moved right through the same area at the same time. The boards are great for picking through other researcher's findings and thoughts, please keep sharing publicly! It's so boring to click "latest message" and have it come up as something from 2005. Here's my olde Iams question again... whatever happened to those 2 Richards (grandchildren of the immigrant) sons of Richard and William Jr. And does anyone really know which one Mary Nichols married? How about her ancestry? Tally Ho!
