Thanks for writing! I had seen the 1900 Iowa census also, then I found 1920 census for Nebraska, James's wife and kids were on there, and she was listed as a widow...
I found on the LDS family search a James Browning Iames, who was married to Effie McCoulgh.. both last names are spelled different from what info. I have.. I did notice on the 1920s census that their last name was spelled IAMS and on the 1910 it was spelled IMES.. The James B Imes Im looking for was born 1859? in Iowa and his dad(no name) was born in Maryland and his mom (no name) was born in Ohio.
Thats all I have.. Im really curious to where and how James died..
