I would love to share information with you!
I am a descendant of James STUMP and Virginia THOMPSON. My gggg-grandmother, Anna Mary/Mary Ann WOTRING THOMPSON came to New Virginia in the mid-1850s, joining many family members. My g-grandmother told of hearing stories from Virginia of the settlers hiding in cellars during Indian raids. I read somewhere there's a book written by the first settlers about their journeys to New Virginia, do you know anything about this book? Anyway, I'd love to hear from you. Marissa
