In the early 20th century several young men came from Hawkins co., TN to Ottumwa to work in the packing plant. They did not return to Tennessee, but instead stayed and raised their families in Iowa. I would like to get in touch with living generations of these families and would like to try to find out where people are buried. One family is William Clay Jones who married Lillian Copple. Another was Mont Lee Jones who married Julia Kreuthender. Another brother was Charlie Doyle Jones who married Nellie Martin. Right now I can't find any of these people listed in the online Ottumwa Cemetery listings, which is where I would think they would be. If I could get obituaries it would be so helpful. Dorothy Mae Jones Allison died in 2002 but I have not been able to find her obituary online. Any help appreciated and I can give the TN background.
