I am seeking any information regarding my ggf Fred W. Kibler. The family relocated from Kosciusko, IN. Though I have not found any census' with Fred or his parents, Philip and Margret Kibler in the Kosciusko area. I did find them in a June 23, 1870 census in Wapello, Town Center, Iowa with a brother named Erza W. In this census, Fred is listed as age 16 and Erza 14. Philip (a farmer) is now age 65 and indicates he is from Penn. Margaret was age 58 and also indicates she is from Penn. I'm stuck on finding any information on Fred's family, including if he had any other siblings. Fred later married Melissa Ellen Fisher, of Mashaska, IA. Fred & Melissa had three children: Julia Etta, Ethel May, and William. All three possibly born in Ottuma. William Kibler later became a Dr. I have found several census records with Fred & Malissa Kibler and family ranging from MO in 1900 to St. Louis, Ill where they finally settled around 1910 and later died. In all of the census, Fred lists his father (Philip) as being from Wales (and indicates in one his father spoke Welch) and his mother as being from Penn. Although the one census of Philip himself in Wapello, he lists himself as being from Penn. I'm also unsure when Fred and Malissa left IA for MO. Fred worked various jobs from being with the circus as a youngster, a railroad watchman, and also a butcher. If anyone happens to have any information on the Kibler families it would be deeply appreciated. Thank you, Lori Dubay Notify Administrator about this message?
