I've found information that James Pontzius and his wife Margaret Ellen (Potter) died in Wapello County. I did find them in the 1910 census in Center Township, listed as Poncy, which is how the name was pronounced from what I understand. Children that I've found so far were John, Martin, Rosa, and Nora. I've found old messages posted by descendants of theirs, but they were on private sites. I'd like to contact descendants who are interested in genealogy. Also interested in anything else about the family.
