The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa

Cupid has been quite active of late. The Lucas Ledger reports the following
marriage:
LEWIS E. PRICE and MISS BEAULAH NICKELL, both of Hiteman, were married at
Ottumwa Christmas day, Esquire G.B. Melick officiating. The bride, a
daughter of J.C. NICKELL and wife, of Hiteman, was born and raised in Lucas
and was a favorite among her associates. The groom is a young man of worth
and strict integrity and is held in high regard. They will make their home
in Hiteman. The Ledger joins the many friends in extending hearty
congratulations and good wishes.
