The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa Thursday, November 7, 1907 WILLIAM LEWIS, of Ottumwa, a native of this county and who formerly resided near Derby, where he grew to manhood, died in Canyon City, Colorado, on Wednesday, Oct. 30, of consumption. His remains were taken to Ottumwa for interment. He was a brother of MRS. W.B. BARGER and Attorney J.W. LEWIS. For a year or more his lungs had been affected and he secured employment in the west in hopes that the climate would eradicate the tendency toward disease. He was a man of fine talents, well equipped for the affairs of life and it is with a deep feeling of sorrow his early demise is learned by his acquaintances. He is survived by a wife. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Copied by Nancee(McMurtrey)Seifert January 12, 2005 iggy29@rnetinc.net http://www.rootsweb.com/~ialucas/Main.htm Notify Administrator about this message?
