The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa Thursday, October 31, 1907 Sunday evening at 7 o'clock MR. CHAS. B. CULBERTSON and MISS FLORENCE A. DARNER, in the presence of a few relatives, were united in marriage at the Presbyterian manse by Rev. W.S. McCullagh. After the wedding all repaired to the home of MRS. HATTIE CULBERTSON, mother of the groom, where supper was awaiting them. The evening was spent pleasantly until 9 o'clock when they left to take the train for Ottumwa, where they will visit a few days with the bride's parents. They expect to return and spend a few days in Chariton before going to Clarinda where they expect to make their future home, the groom having a position in the office of the Clarinda Creamery Co., as auditor. Both of the young people are well known here. MR. CULBERTSON is the oldest son of MRS. HATTIE CULBERTSON and has grown to manhood here. He is a young man of promise with fine qualities. The bride is well known to many. As they take up the duties of life entering the ranks of the married and make for themselves a home, we wish for them the rich blessing of a happy and useful life. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Copied by Nancee(McMurtrey)Seifert January 9, 2005 iggy29@rnetinc.net http://www.rootsweb.com/~ialucas/Main.htm Notify Administrator about this message?
