I know of at least two marriages in my family that took place in Wapello Co. Is it possible to get actual copies of the records? Both took place in 1876 and I have been given the info from an index of some sort, but the person did not have actual copies. I have gotten marriage license copies from other places from an LDS film, does anyone know if Wapello's have been filmed?

melissa (looking for records of the following in Wapello: Lane, Mabry, and from Sheridan IN, Mace girls Ella and Mary Alice. Ella m. James J. Mabry and Mary Alice married Ira Wilson Lane, both on June 14, 1876...still trying to find other siblings of Mary and Ella and tie them to their parents, Jesse Mace and Catherine Scott. This Mace family lived in Sheridan IN c.1857-59. As far as I know, they do not tie into the MACE line that settled in Ottuma/Agency earlier)
