Looking for a Mr. Wright who married a Rebecca Burt and at least one of their children was born in , Jackson, OH, and later Rebecca and daughter Martha lived in Ottumwa IA. Who they are, how they got to Iowa or who Mr. Wright (or a Mr. Nosler) is the question. Mrs. Rebecca (Burt) Wright was either widowed or divorced from Mr. Wright and later married Mr. Nosler in Iowa. Unknown if he survives long, but she will later die in the state of Oregon, using the Nosler surname. The 1885, 4th census for Ottumwa lists: James E. Hawkins, 35, M, md, bookkeeper, born NY, m/f foreign born Martha Hawkins, 30, F, md, keeps house, born OH Enola, 12, F, b Wapello Bert, 10, M, b Wapello Arthur, 3, M, b Wapello Rebecca No(s)ler, 57, F, widow, born OH James and Martha married Jun 1, 1871 in Prob: , Wapello, Iowa, daughter of ? WRIGHT and REBECCA BURT. She writes something about AUNT MINNIE. Pondering if the Minnie born to this Samantha could have been named for this "AUNT MINNIE" our Enola was writing to, as Enola and this Minnie were about 1 year apart in birth. Thanks.
