I am related to the Collett Familes, Ernest Nord,etc.
John H. Collett married my great aunt, Sarah Adaline "Sadie" Evans, and James Collett(bro)
to John H. married Sadie's sister, Mary Jane "America" Evans.They were the daughters of my great grandpa Wm. H. Evans and Elizabeht Jane Ruggles Evans. I have been researching now for several years and I always come to a dead end trying to find the date of their deaths and when they died and where they are buried.I know Wm. H. and Eliz. at one time lived at Ioka, Ia. Probably some time after l877 I could find nothing more on my great grandparents.
He had several children besides the two listed above. Wm. Oliver was my grandfather and Grace Lille Teller Evans was my grandmother. Laura Evans, Ella Evans who married a Joseph S. Vulgamott, and Oliva Evans who never married and was an invalid. She died in Aug. 1909.He also had an older child who died in infancy (Nancy). These two are bur. in Bluepoint Cem. Blackhawk Twp., Jefferson Co, Ia.
I don't have any records as to the birth and death of James and Mary Evans Collett's children:

Ora Collett; Ada Collett Hoffman; Roy Collett; Oliver Collett; Lizzie Collett; Maggie Collett. Apparently, John H. had three other children who must have died young. I don't have their names.
There was a Margaret Collett who married a Lincoln Huddleston 25 July l9ll. I have her listed as living in Fallon, Nev. b.1893. no death date.
Also an Elizabeth Collett who married a Frank C. Cole 19 Sept. 1908
Who was Ronnie R. Collett. b. l945?
All I have on him, was a news item of him being involved in a wreck, involving Arvin Wayne Hackert near Hedrick,Ia around Feb.l974.
Who was Lenora Collett married to?
I need the births, death records and families of Frank and Leonard Collett. From what little info I have on Frank and Leonard, they were ministers of the Gospel and I believe lived in California, possibly El Segundo, CA.
Need info on Grace Irene Collett as to whose parents she belongs to.
I have the children of Ernest Nord and Orpha Collett Nord, but I don't have their families.
