The many friends and acquaintances of MAJ. G.F. WALKER, formerly practicing attorney of this city, will regret to learn that he died at his residence in Van Buren County on Thursday morning of this week. The Major was a generous hearted, talented, young man, and had been suffering for many years from injuries received while in the Army. He was also a member of the Masonic and Odd Fellow's Associations. Many of his relatives reside in this city.
