Yes, Ovid is my father. I have very few pictures of him before he met my mother around 1935 and the ones I have of them together are poorly identified. I would love to have copies of any pictures you have and I would also appreciate identification of people and places if you can.
I have my dad's log of gigs in the early days and I will have to check it again to see if the name Newby is included (the log isn't complete so the absence of a name is not significant.) Do you have any stories about their relationship?
