Shirley, thanks for the reply. Phoebe Torrey married my ancestor, Elisha Doty, in Tama County, after his first wife died and he was divorced from his second wife (my ancestress). I did find a burial record online, under the name of Phoebe Torrey, in Maple Hill Cemetery, near Montour. There are two Torrey men buried there, but I still don't know whether Torrey was her maiden name or a married name. I don't have anything on the other families you are researching, either. Wish I could help.
