I'm looking for information on Phoebe Torrey DOTY. She was married to Elisha DOTY after a TORREY. However, I've found her name on a GenWeb site, buried in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tama County, as Phoebe C. Torrey. Someone on the Internet said her maiden name was Collar, but I haven't found any further information. Elisha was my ancestor, but I wanted to find a little more information on Phoebe, b. New York about 1820.
There's a Cyrus D. Torrey in the same cemetery, but he doesn't show up in census records--don't know whether he was Phoebe's first husband or not. Thanks for any information.
