Hopkins, Stratton and May Families of Story Co.

Thomas & Susannah May came from New Castle, Henry Co., Indiana to Story Co., Iowa about or before 1860. I have some photos of them and others in the family. On some of the photos the photographer's name is given as J. G. May.
This could be one of their sons who was named John George May. Can anyone in the Cambridge area collaborate that John George May was a photographer in Cambridge in the 1860 to 1870 era?
