I don't know if you can help me but thank -you anyway. Iam looking for the Baker family. They lived in Jackson twp., Sac County, Iowa in 1870. Baker,John R ,PA son Philip, age 19, Ind son Pierce, age 17, IA son Hiram, age 11, IA
son Frank, age 1, ILL Hoping to find mother of this family.

Think John R Baker died some time before 1880. Not listed in census anywhere that I can find in 1880. Hiram listed in 1880 Census at Williams, Calhoun, Iowa with the Benjamin LaPorte family, he married Benjamin's daughter Mary Alice.
