Would like to know when Nathaniel and family arrived in Iowa, probably Grinnell. Nathaniel was a Congregationalist missionary in India and returned to US in May 1845. He was a minister at a Presbyterian church in Sugar Grove , Warren Cty PA from 1849 to 1854. I think he died in Grinnell in 1859 and is buried there. His wife and children continued to live in Iowa. Why did he go to Iowa? Did he practise as a minister there?
