I don't find any obituary in Council Bluffs for Emma Semmons. She, and other family members, are buried in Adair County, Walnut Township, Canby Friends Cemetery. You have probably seen the photos at the following site:

It appears that Georgia Faye Semmons never married, as she appears in the 1930 census for Pott. Co., Iowa, living with her brother, Francis (who is divorced in this census), at age 41. She is listed as a bookkeeper for a coal company in the 1930 census.
