I am seeking the descendents or any person that knows anything about these two men. Jesse Talley is buried in the McDivitt cemetery Urbandale ,Polk county,Iowa along with his wife, mother and father. His father was Marion M. Talley who was in the civil war. I believe that Marion M. Talley probably went by the name Charles on some census. Marion's son Edward Talley is buried in Pine Hill cemetery in Saylor Township, Polk County, Iowa.

I think that Jesse and Edward may be half brothers to Charles M. Talley who was born in Vernon County, Missouri and lived in Jackson County, Missouri. Charles M. Talley and Helen Brown Talley had daughters Florence Helen Talley and Marion Nevada Talley. His daughter Marion sang for a few years in the opera. Charles M. Talley's father full name was Marion Nicholas Talley. His mother was Hannah Rudley/Radley.

If Marion M. Talley the father of Jesse and Edward went by the name Charles Talley than I suspect they descend from the Talley family on the Delaware(The book "A history of the Talley family on the Delaware by George N. Talley written 1899 is online.) . The oldest known man from that family was William who had a son Thomas. Thomas had several sons. The ones I can think of were William, Samuel and David. Anyway, several of the descendents moved to Ohio and some went to Indiana.

I'd like to hear from all who are interested in the above families.
