FALL VICTIM'S RITES MONDAY
Mrs. McMichael, 87, Was Widow of Veteran
Services for Mrs. Eliza C. McMichael, 87, of 4520 Twelfth st., who died Thursday at Mercy hospital as the result of a fall, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Dunn's Funeral home.
Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. McMichael was visiting relatives at Hurdland, Mo., when she fell. She was bedridden by the accident, and pneumonia was the immmediate cause of her death.
She was the widow of a Civil war veteran, James M. McMichael of Company C, Twenty-third Iowa division. She was born near Saylorville, Ia.
Four children survive. They are Anna (Mrs. Ed) Lowe, William McMichael and Charles McMichael of Des Moines, and John W. McMichael of Los Angeles, Cal. A brother, Gabe Howard, lives north of Saylorville.
