James McCORMICK moved from Canada with wife Norah/Nanorah and 5 children to Lizard Twp in 1868 where he purchased land. He sold out bef. 1900 and moved to Nebraska. Michael McCORMICK arrived in Lake Twp. in 1871 with his wife Honora and 7 children from Canada. Were James and Michael related? Many of their children have the same names - of course since they were Irish Catholic, that could explain the names.
Any help will be appreciated.
