I am trying to trace the roots of the Conrad Weiersheuser family. I believe that he came to the USA in the 1880's from the Black Forest Area of Germany but cannot figure out if he had siblings and who they were; nor can I find his parents. He married Katherine Harmel in Plymouth County, Iowa where she passed away a few years later, and then later he married Emma Oehlerking and ended up in Dixon County, Nebraska at least before 1894. The name was also spelled Weiershauser by his son(my grandfather)... Anyone have any information?
