I am trying to find out if ORR and ODELLA MCGOWAN, born July 9, 1898 (twins), in OSCEOLA Co., ever married and had a family. Their parents were Robert Alexander and Martha Amelia McGowan. Through the SSDI at ancestry.com, I was able to find ODELL's death date as October of 1980 - which also indicates since it is in her maiden name that she never married. Is it possible that ORR is still living - since no SSDI was found on him?
If anyone knows anything about this family, I would love to hear from you. Also, if they had any other brothers or sisters - so far it doesn't look like it.
Also, Robert's parents lived in OSCEOLA Co. - their names were ROBERT JAMES ORR MCGOWAN and EDITH A. ODELL MCGOWAN. ROBERT died in 1907. I hope this helps.
