Good Afternoon Forum Members,

d. 09 Feb 1943 in Hartley, O'Brien, Iowa, USA

He married 04 Aug 1925 in Plymouth County, Iowa, USA

Julia Wellendorf
b. 22 Mar 1866 in Probsteierhagen, Holstein, Germany
d. 04 Aug 1925 in Hartley, O'Brien, Iowa, USA

From this union, there were 6 children
1 -- Freda
2 -- Rudolph
3 -- Charles
4 -- Adolf
5 -- Clarence
6 -- Viola

I have found him in all US and Iowa Census available. I have photos and information on where he is buried. What I am looking for is any obituaries, death records in the county seat, ship records or the name of his mother and father, and where they were from. Betty Selken IS NOT his mother's real name.

I have a Hoper family tree that dates back to 1486 in Germany, but I am missing one or two generations to connect this to my current family. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for all help
