The following obituary was adhered to a page in my great great grandmother's Bible. Daniel Henderson and Hannah Wilson-Henderson were my great great grandparents.
"HENDERSON-Daniel Henderson died at his home in Cedar County, Iowa near Moscow, Feb. 16, 1887, with pneumonia. He was born in Pike County, Ohio March 28, 1821. He came to Iowa in 1840 where he resided until his death. In 1841 he was married to Miss Hannah Wilson, whom he now leaves to mourn his death. Mr. Henderson was an old and respected citizen, was a well-to-do farmer, and a member of the Christian Church for over 30 years. His sickness was short but severe, yet he bore it with Christian patience, knowing it would all end to God's glory. He leaves ten children and a host of friends to mourn. H.H."
