Maria Johanna Kaufmann, better known as Mary Jane, married Matthew G. Klein in 1886. They had eight children, Clara,[died in infancy] Walter, Sophia, Rosa, Ernest, Benjamin, Elsie, and Harold [died at age 2.]Matthew was the engineer for a threshing machine. They lived near Atalissa, Iowa. They later divorced. Mary Jane was a sister to my grandma and this info came from the Kaufmann History Book.
Unless Matthew had a second marriage and more children, this doesn't appear to be the one you are looking for.
