Do you have any information on the John McCutcheon family who lived in Sciola, IA in 1897. They were probably there after 1876. John's wife, Ruthana Hiatt McCutcheon died in Sciola on May 29, 1897. One of their daughters, Sarah Catherine may also have died there in 1934. She married 3 times but her name at death would have been Gowey because she married Hartland Judson Gowey on March 23, 1923. My great grandmother was their daughter, Ruth who married Aleck Ekstrand in 1893 in Red Oak, IA. Any help would be appreciated.
