I am seekng information on Lydia, James Edwiin and Ida Estella Poland. They are siblings and the children of Josiah Poland and Eliza Minerva Chrisman Poland.
All were born in Melrose, Iowa. Lydia's dob is 1866, James Edwin's 4-30-1868 and Ida Estella's 11-22-1871. There were already four children in the family when they were born--Mary, John W, Kate and Alice Minerva.
Josiah was born in Pennsylvania and may have come here with other extended family. If you are aware of other Polands living in the area in that time period I would be interested in their names as it may help connect Josiah to a line.
If anyone is researching a line the connects with the Polands or has access to old birth or county census records I would be very grateful for any information that you could share with me.
