I am interested in corresponding with anyone researching the Courtney's found living in Monona County from the early 20th century to present. In particular, the children of James & Lucinda Golden Courtney, whom all migrated to Iowa from east Tennessee.

Some names of note: Senter Dee Courtney (m. Jessie Hale), Retta R. Courtney (m. James Cockerton), Jesse James Courtney (m. Menta Hale), Charles Coy Courtney (m. Mattie A. Ingle), & Frank E. Courtney (married a woman named Lillie).

If there is anyone out there is researching these folks, please drop me a message or feel free to post a reply to this message board.

Regards,
Morgan H Courtney
