My gr. gr. grandma was "Effie" Ethel Rush. Her mother died when she was little. Effie was born in Nebraska (Krate? Creek?) 12/5/1883. Her father was Frank Rush. She was raised by James "Frank"lin Adams and Hannah (Wyatt) Adams.
The Wyatt girls, Hannah and Emma, were born in Burlington, Vermont. Their father was James Edward Wyatt, and their mother was Martha Liddle.
Emma Liddle Wyatt married John Gardner and lived in Monona County, near Moorhead (possibly Willow Twp?). Effie married one of John Gardner's sons (also John) in the Adams home (Harrison County) 6/5/1902.
I'd really like to get documentation on Effie... marriage certificate, birth certificate, that sort of thing (for my grandmother).
I'm curious what happened to James and Martha Wyatt too. Did they stay in Iowa? Did they have other children? Corrections and additions are welcomed!
